Hot Sands Beach

A cheeky location for cool kids, festivals, families and vagabonds, this long, sandy expanse of lakefront is Kelowna’s signature tourist attraction. Within earshot of Parks Alive Stage, there’s an urban vibe here and it’s playing to the tune of its own drummer.

Local venders and artisans often set up shop with tent malls popping up along the promenade. Buskers and slackliners perform beachside, while aquatic gymnasts entertain their land-locked audience. Volleyball and basketball courts, playgrounds, water and skate parks frame the picturesque marina complete with boardwalks, and yes – pianos.
